Hi everyone, I follow everyone daily and now it is time to chime in. Had CT scan of head for a couple transient attacks or panic attacks – we weren’t sure which and it came out clear…woo hoo…meaning there is nothing foreign up there..hahaha. Then I had my post breast cancer mammogram and check up on Monday and that was clear as well. I am trying to let my guard down and enjoy life..it works most of the time…getting used to having “normal” allergy attacks (pollen is bad here in north Florida). Eating is still a challenge but at least I can eat cherrios, tacos with thin taco hard shells with lots of sour cream and guacamole(don’t ask my why I can eat those)and of course Ensure Plus shakes. I am doing some volunteer work at a local university between 8 and 12 hours per week. It is so great being around the young people. Don’t know when or if I can go back to work full time, but for right now I am in a good place.
Sending blessing and love to everyone. If you are still in the thick of your treatments..don’t give up and don’t castigate yourself when you have to rest and say no to others. The most important thing right now is YOU.
Glad things are progressing well, and the CT scan was negative. After a bout with cancer any twich, bump or oddity is a concern. Good you are finding foods that agree with you, and still finding mine, but I actually eat everything except if it’s too spicy. Be well..Paul
I’m so happy for you. I get very tired and sometimes my cousins make fun of me cause I fall asleep before 11, but I need it. AND I love! guacamole! yum. I think I’ll have Mexican tonight. Take care :)
Sounds like a remedy for success and feeling good. Glad you can get some real food in you too. I’ve commented on this food thing a lot…how we take it for granted until it’s not available to us.
That’s funny… I remember a couple of weeks after I had IMRT for the first time… I craved and ate Mexican food. For some reason… I could eat it too :)
I hope you’re still doing good :) Let us know!
I’m glad you scan was negative. I can’t wait til I can eat Mexican. My mouth is still too sensitive tot he spices. I learned ti love it when I had lived in So Californis and make it when I moved to Pennsylvania. Maybe soon
What a great step for you! We’re still on the decent from Mount Doom as some call it in here. But the sky is getting brighter thanks to our BFAC friends
